WE OWE MUCH TO THESE DOGS THAT HAVE LEFT THEIR MARK ON OUR BREEDING PROGRAM AND I WILL BE FOREVER GREATFUL TO HAVE KNOWN THEM.
16 points in 8 show, our Champion Pennylane's Fine China was a wonder! . Three WB for three 4-point majors from the Bred-By-Exhibitor Class and Best of Variety over specials on 3-6-99 for two points and 3-7-99 at Belleville IL for the fun of it. What a little girl..WB for 2 points in Mason City Iowa on April 24 to finish. She placed third in her class at the 99 Nationals. ...(these are puppies pictured in the bucket)
We lost our Ch. Pennylane's Tapestry, Mona in the summer of 2011. China, my beautiful Ch. Pennylane's Fine China was laid to rest on September 12, 2012. She was approaching age 16. Her legacy will live on forever through the females of Pennylane.
This is Tiffin, a daughter of China. She was so lovely and eager to please.
We will never forget these girls, China, Tiffin and Mona, they gave so much to us.
This is a litter brother of China and Mona. He went to live with good friends of mine in Texas when he was about two. At that time he had 14 points with one major, but they did not contiue with his show career. His devotion to them as their companion was his priority.
Max was a delight to show and a grand companion.
What can we say about Magic. She was very loved by her breeders, by us, and by her final owner. For the last quarter of her life, she was a part of the Czajkowki family, owned and handled by Rebecca Czajkowki (Olson). Rebecca spent many years as my helper and friend as she grew up showing in 4-H and in AKC shows. Magic is shown here very much out of coat, but still taking Winner's Bitch and Best Of Opposite Sex at Tri City Kennel Club. Magic is the mother of Pennylane at Midnight, his litter sister, Pennylane Midnight Lace who in turn is the mother of our CH Pennylane's Fine China, Pennylane's Heirloom, and Pennylane's Tapestry. While we only had one litter from Magic, she WAS the foundation for Pennylane and she will live on in the generations to come.
Thanks again to her breeders, Amy Ross and Brian Elwell of Oak Knoll Collies for letting Magic be a part of our breeding program. She was retired and living THE companion life in Chicago with Rebecca and her family. Our Magic was laid to rest at the end of summer, 2006, but she will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Magic.
Teddy was yet another CH offspring of Twin Creeks Deja Vu. He was a rich mahogany sable with an outstanding temperament. Soon after he finished, he went to live with his new co-owner, Janie Nafsinger at collies in Idaho. She put the boy to work and look what they have accomplished. What a team. We have always been so proud of them both.
